Awesome Blogger Award

The Awesome Blogger Award

Posted on Posted in Award, Blogging

I have been missing from blogging scene for a while now. I know this starts to be old because I am having writers block or otherwise too busy life to write all the time. Well, now I am back because two amazing bloggers and lovely people nominated me for The Awesome Blogger Award! Thank you Kasia and Anubh. If you are interested in travel stories and insightful travel articles their blogs are the must thing to read.

The Rules:

-Thank the person who nominated you.
-Tag it under #awesomebloggeraward in the Reader
-Answer the questions your nominator gave you.
-Nominate at least 5 awesome bloggers.
-Give your nominees 10 new questions to answer.
-Let your nominees know that they’ve been nominated.

Kasia’s Questions:

1.If you could go back in time without any consequences, when would that be?

Can I just keep travel trough the time to different eras? If not then maybe to my Japan trip just because I want to travel back to Kyoto. Surprisingly, I am quite happy with my current life situation when compared to the past.

2.Beaches or mountains?

Beaches.

3.What’s the one thing you can’t travel without?

My headphones. I know someone will mention that those are useless if I don’t have music player with me but I will still stick with my answer. My headphones are my savior against the world around me. Even if I can’t listen to music with them at least I can close my self outside of the world. No one will talk with person who has headphones in their ears…

4.If you could go back for a do-over trip, where would you go?

Like I already said: Japan. How can person miss country they have only visited once this much?

5.Why do you love to travel?

It’s my way to escape the life. I have always loved reading and when I travel I feel like the protagonist of my own story.

6.Who is your fave travel companion?

Myself. Solo travel is my thing.

7.How many languages do you speak?

Ummm… What you mean with speak? I am fluent in Finnish and quite good in English. I have studied Swedish for 8 years but almost failed high school because I was so bad at it. I also studied German for 7 years but can’t say anything anymore. And I just studied Japanese for six month but it’s just too hard for me.

8.What would you be doing if you weren’t a blogger?

This question is hard because there is two possibilities. I would either still be writing because it is what I love and even if it wasn’t blogging I would have find a way to write. Or then I would have never had the courage to try writing as career and I would now be sitting miserably in some university studying something I don’t love. I don’t like thinking this because it scares me to death…

9.What is your fave dish and why?

Finnish “makaronilaatikko” aka macaroni box. Don’t laugh the translation for makaronilaatikko is literally macaroni box. It is traditional Finnish food where we put macaroni, meat, eggs, milk and spices in box (box meaning casserole).

10.What do you do when you’re not blogging?

I write. I feel like nowadays I don’t do anything else except writing. And well traveling. And I am of course always addicted to some kind of TV series, book or Youtuber.

Anubh’s Questions:

1.What is the most far-fetched dream have you ever thought of?

That I would write my own book in English that could succeed greatly amongst people around the world. Before you say that this would be possible take closer look to my English skills.

2.What is your biggest fear in life? & why?

Not fulfilling my dreams. I am just scared that one day I will wake up as old grandma and realize that I wasted my whole life for nothing.

3.If someone sponsor you one free Round-the-world tour, which places would you pick and why?

Can I pick out all the countries in this world for my round-the-world tour? No, okay… Well in that case I would go to Amsterdam, Cairo, Seoul, Sydney, San Francisco and Cusco. Sounds boring but these are some of the bigger cities I truly want to visit some day.

4.One favorite song which you could hear over and over again for years?

Nu’est – Face

I have been listening to this one since 2012 and it never gets old…

5.What does happiness means to you? and when was the last time you felt great happiness?

For me happiness is doing what I want, when I want and with people I love. Last time I truly felt great happiness? Probably seeing my friend last weekend or when getting lost around Venice a few weeks ago. I get happy from the small things I do.

6.Which are your 5 favorites movies of all time?

This is just too hard to answer!! I love so many different movies…

  1. Now You See Me
  2. You’re My Pet
  3. The Files Of Young Kindaichi – Lost In Kowloon
  4. Deadpool
  5. Spiderman movies (just because I may have huge crush on this superhero…)

7.If you could witness a moment of past, present or future, what would it be?

I want to see when I die. Then I would at least know how much I have time to live.

8.What is the most craziest things you have ever done in life?

Leaving to Japan all alone? Or maybe going to the abandoned amusement park in Japan? Or just generally traveling alone…

9.Any one secret which you haven’t share to anyone yet till now?

There is many secrets but if I shared them now they would not be secrets anymore, right?

10.What inspires you the most?

Other people. Meeting interesting people with different lifestyles when compared to me and talking with totally strangers to late night in ancient hostel common rooms.

.         .         .

And now I am going to be kind of boring and not to nominate anyone… I am just too awkward to do it and I just nominated so many people that I don’t know who to add here anymore! But if you have amazing blog (I know you do) just say in the comments and I can come up with 10 questions for you. 🙂

And btw, don’t forget to follow my InstagramFacebook and Twitter!

Once again thanks for Kasia and Anubh. Remember everyone to check out their blogs. And I will hopefully see you all soon here in my blog.
Have a nice day!
